The Closed Door
This is a door people close behind them. What follows is what we keep on the inside, and for what.
What we keep
- What you gave us to open the account: an email, a password stored only in scrambled form, the name she calls you, a birth date and a gender, plus anything you add to your shelf.
- Your side of every talk, plus whatever notes each woman jots down to remember you by.
- A cookie that holds your session, and one that remembers you passed the adults-only door.
- A trace of any payment: the sum and the reference of the transfer. A card is never involved.
- Ordinary server logs, held for a short while for security.
What we do with it
We keep it so the talk can happen, so the ground rules can be enforced and so the site stays up. A language model that we host, or a provider held to the same job, reads your lines to answer them, and a safety filter looks them over. Nobody pays for your conversations and no advertiser sees them.
Because the subject is private
Leave out surnames, addresses, workplaces and passwords. What you write here is intimate, and a stored talk can be opened by us when safety demands it.
Counting visitors
We use a basic visitor count, by country and by day. It never opens a talk.
What you can do
Each talk's menu lets you edit the notes she keeps, take away a copy, or clear the talk. For total removal, write to the house from your registered email. Where your home law grants further rights, name them and we will abide by them.
